Like we needed another reason to hate him…Spencer Strider is now Philadelphia’s Most Wanted.
Philly scumbags…ASSEMBLE. I had a full day to sit on this and watch the replay countless times and it just makes me angrier every time.
Thankfully, Bryce isn’t seriously injured and seems like he wont miss much if any time. But that’s not the point, the point is that little baby back bitch Spencer Strider threw a 94 MPH fastball right at him.
You don’t do that to Bryce Harper, and you most definitely don’t do that to Bryce Harper in his own ballpark.
As far as retaliation goes, the Phillies rightfully did not retaliate on Tuesday night as they were focused on winning a close game. They took care of business and got the 2-0 win.
Now, after yesterday’s game was postponed we’ve got a doubleheader today. Sanchez is on the mound for game 1 and Wheeler will get the nod for game 2. Somebody on the Braves must get hit. Before all you snowflakes come for me and whine about me advocating for throwing at people, I don’t want to see anyone get hurt but there needs to be a response by the Phillies.
I want Acuna or Riley to eat one right in the ribs or maybe even on the knee. Again, not rooting for them to get injured but they need to feel some sort of pain it’s sports.
It’s a real shame, REAL SHAME the Braves aren’t much of a threat this year(I’m getting ahead of myself) and we most likely won’t have the chance to kick their ass in the playoffs once again.
Anyway, hoping the Phillies can keep this hot streak going and win at least one of two during this doubleheader to win another series.
