Well this sort of came out of nowhere.
Couple things here, one adding Tank Bigsby to this backfield could be deadly. Bigsby had a great year for the Jags last year so I am pretty surprised that they traded him.
Bigsby rushed for 766 yards last season and 7 TDs. It appears that the Eagles like the idea of using him as a kick returner as well.
The Eagles gave up two draft picks to get him which is a lot granted they are later round picks.
It’s been said that the trade is in no relation to the Will Shipley injury. But, seems kind of like it also might be a security blanket in case he does end up missing some time. Hopefully Will doesn’t miss much time if because he was going to be a solid part of the offense.
According to ESP, the Eagles have to make another move to make room for Bigsby so it’ll be interesting to see what that move will be.
