Walsh’s Winners: NFL Week 1 Recap

Man was it great to have the NFL back last weekend. Our Birds are 1-0 and even better we beat the Dallas Cowboys while hanging a banner right in their face.

I am still upset over the fact that The Big LeWALSHski for that game didn’t hit after it looked like all but a sure thing after the first half. But nooooooo we didn’t get lucky there. However, The Big LeWALSHski did have a nice bounce back on Friday night with the Chargers moneyline pick so I hope you took that. I was feeling confident after that win thinking we were gonna get back to an even 2-2 with the Big LeWALSHski so I took the over in the Michigan/Oklahoma game annnnndddddd it didn’t hit. SO, The Big LeWALSHski currently sits at 1-3 on the football season…NOT IDEAL I KNOW. More on that later though…

Last week for Walsh’s Winners was 9-7 on the straight picks last week. We got screwed by the Flacons losing late and the Texans fumbling the ball as they were driving to win the game. I really have to stop doubting Geno Smith because I feel like he always screws me. The Panthers was a dumb pick so thats on me and I didn’t know that Tua still has a concussion and Daniel Jones might actually be good. As for the Seahawks game that could’ve gone either way so that was a tough one. This week I promise I will be better on the straight picks.

As for the Walsh’s Winners when it comes to the spreads and over/unders….It was a bloodbath.

2-8 on the week….Just absolutely pathetic I mean it really couldn’t have gone much worse. It started off so good to,hitting the Chargers ML on Friday night I was pumped we were going to have a huge weekend.

That was not the case. Look this is all fun and games until people actually start telling me they are taking my picks and I feel like I let a lot of you down. Hand up, it’s on me and I will be better going forward. I’m hitting the film room every night this week and diving into some game tape. Walsh’s Winners will be better next week I promise you that. It’s a long season and the goal is to be better than the week before.

Now, onto the elephant in the room…The status of The Big LeWALSHski. Hundred and thousands of questions have been coming my way about it. I held a press conference after going 0-2 to answer some of those questions.

We had a nice little comeback only to be let down once again on Saturday night thanks to Oklahoma and Michigan. So where does The Big LeWALSHski go from here.
